Eden brand Udon is made in an ancient manner for the best flavor and texture from blended sifted and whole grain wheat flours. Udon is a thick, flat, Japanese whole wheat noodle like fettuccini. Delicious in a kombu broth with soy sauce and seasonings. A versatile food. Product of Canada.

- Cooking Instructions: Use the "shock" method to cook Udon: Boil 3 quarts of water. Do not add salt. Add 1/2 pound of pasta and stir. Upon boiling, add 1 cup water. Return to boil again, then add another cup of cold water. Repeat once more, then rinse, drain and add sauce or toss with sesame oil and mirin. Cooks in 5 to 7 minutes.
