• Cooking Instructions: Use the "shock" method to cook Udon: Boil 3 quarts of water. Do not add salt. Add 1/2 pound of pasta and stir. Upon boiling, add 1 cup water. Return to boil again, then add another cup of cold water. Repeat once more, then rinse, drain and add sauce or toss with sesame oil and mirin. Cooks in 5 to 7 minutes.
