Throat Coat is a comforting herbal tea that provides soothing temporary relief from minor discomfort of irritated areas in the mouth and throat due to colds, smoking, prolonged speaking or singing, or exposure to dampness. The winged, nut-like fruits of the slippery elm tree are carried by the wind. It is the inner bark of this native North American tree that yields the soothing demulcent powder used in Throat Coat.

ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Slippery elm bark (Ulmus rubra): 200 mg. per tea bag.

OTHER INGREDIENTS: Licorice root, wild cherry bark, fennel seed, cinnamon bark, orange peel, althea root.

• Directions for Use: At the first signs of throat discomfort, drink 1-2 cups of Throat Coat. Repeat every two hours as needed, not to exceed 8 cups in 24 hours.
