Also called Irish Oatmeal, these steel cut oats are whole grain groats ( the inner portion of the oat kernel) which have been cut into only two or three pieces. Ther are golden in color and resmble mini rice particles. Distinctive hearty, chewy flavor.

  • Basic Cooking Instructions: Bring 4 cups water with 1 tsp. salt to a boil. Gradually add 1 cup steel cut oats, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until oats are tender (about 15-30 minutes).
