- Directions: Combine contents of package (1 cup volume) with 2/3 - 3/4 cup of cold water. Mix quickly into dough ball and knead for 15 to 30 seconds. Cut or shape into several smaller pieces. Drop pieces into 5 cups boiling water containing 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Immediately remove from water when done. Steaks are ready to prepare in your favorite recipe. May be frozen for later use. Makes six 3 1/2 ozs (21 oz total) Minit-Meat steaks. Try preparing with Bill's Baste.
